1. Read and analyze Lord of the Flies by tracing character and theme development throughout the novel.
3. Agenda: 
1. Today is a quiet, independent reading day. 
2. Lord of the Flies
1. Finish Chapter 10 w/study guide if you haven't already.
2. Independently read Chapter 11 and work on the study guide. What you don't complete in class becomes homework over the weekend. You should be ready to read Chapter 12 when I return on Monday. You may turn in completed study guides into the basket, or I will collect them from you on Monday when I return.
1. Work on analysis questions/study guide.
2. Add to your Character Analysis Character Map
1. Make sure you're including direct quotations about your character and analyzing what the quotation reveals about your character.
4. HW: 
1. Finish Chapters 10-11 study guides if you didn't finish them in class.
