An extra credit assignment for The Giver has been pushed out in Google Classroom. 

Hi! I hope you're all doing well! The only thing you need to do this week is finish and submit any assignments you were still working on. Make sure that on your designated device return day you return your Chromebooks and any materials/novels you have checked out.

ELA 8 Week 36

1. We are continuing our novel, The Giver. The digital copy of the text and the audio files are in the Doc Library on the blog and in GC. 
2. Read chapters 17-23 and respond to the reading questions for those chapters. 
3. Take the AR test when you finish the novel.
4. The dates to return your novels and devices has been announced as the week of May 18th. Check the Ross Classroom for details.

ELA 7 Week 36

Agenda for the week:

1. We are continuing our novel, The Outsiders. The digital copy of the text and the audio files are in the Doc Library on the blog and in GC. 
2. There are two slideshows in GC that you will work on as you read. One slideshow contains reading questions and the other contains reading activities. Read chapters 10-12 and respond to the reading questions for those chapters. 
3. Continue working slides 4-7 of the Reading Activities slideshow. Remember that these slides are all activities that we've done with other novels in the past, so if you're unsure what do do, reference previous assignments. For example, search "Plot Chart" in your Google Drive, and you will be able to look back on plot charts you've completed on other stories in order to refresh your memory about how to complete the plot chart. 
4. When you finish reading the novel and responding to the reading questions, take the AR Reading test.
5. The dates to return your novels and devices has been announced as the week of May 18th. Please check the Ross Classroom for details.
