Today our online learning journey continues! I hope you're all doing well! Please complete the items on the agenda below. All assignments can be accessed from Google Classroom and are due on Friday, 4/24. We will have a Google Meet opportunity on Thursday. I will send a link for you to join the meet on Thursday morning. Agenda for the week:
- We are beginning our next novel, The Outsiders. The digital copy of the text and the audio files are in the Doc Library on the blog, but I will also push these out in GC.
- Please view the slides show titled "The Outsiders Historical Context" before we begin reading. This is to give you an idea about the setting, characters, and language used in the novel. You only need to view this slideshow.
- There are two slideshows in GC that you will work on as you read. One slideshow contains reading questions and the other contains reading activities. Read chapters 1-3 and respond to the reading questions for those chapters. Begin working slides 4-7 of the Reading Activities slideshow. You will continue to work on these slides as you read, and they will be due Friday, May 22.
- Grammar: StudySync Adverb Clauses
- Google Meet on Thursday to discuss the new novel, assignments, answer questions, and just check in! I'll send details Thursday morning, so make sure to check your email and Google Classroom that day.
